The Sandbjerg Estate in Southern Jutland is the University's course centre. The manor house is
equipped to accommodate 60 course participants, and provides the setting for symposia, courses
and meetings with scholarly, scientific, educational, or cultural aims. The Sandbjerg Estate was
presented to the University in 1954 by Ellen Dahl, née Dinesen, who was the widow of
Attorney-at-Law Knud Dahl and the sister of Karen Blixen ('Isak Dinesen').
