How to prepare for the course
- learn how to use the World-Wide web
- learn about writing web-pages in HTML (not using a web editor)
- create a homepage for yourself, containing at least headers, links, lists, and tables
- read chapters 1 and 2 in the course book (Lewis & Loftus, 1998: Java Software Solutions. Addison-Wesley.
- HTML resources:
- Consult Appendix K of the Lewis and Loftus book. A compact guide to HTML, the language in which web pages are
written, can be found at http://werbach.com/barebones/ . An other introduction in Danish is available at
http://www.dina.dk/~sestoft/databehandling/html1.html .
